Over the years, I've had the opportunity to be a part of a number of different church choirs. Although my voice is far short of stellar, I very much enjoyed being a part of the tenor section, especially when the choir was under the inspired direction of my friend Cecile. As the years passed, a number of hymns grew to be favorites of mine. Many were spiritual standards; others were of a more contemporary nature; all, though, were an important part of my churchgoing experiences. This album is similar to my four previous "Getting Wired" offerings, insofar as I use computer hardware and software to execute my musical ideas. The primary difference, of course, is that my efforts on this album showcase music of a more spiritual nature.
