There are three distinct melodies in the hymn "Dona Nobis Pacem." In my arrangement, the first melody is carried by a clarinet, second by an oboe, and the third by a bassoon. Once each melody has been stated, all three melodies are then played simultaneously. Next, a piano is used to restate the first theme twice, with the melody of "Amazing Grace" layered over the top of the second statement.
