(originally released on my "Getting Wired III" album)
The very first time I heard the last four measures of Frederic Chopin's "Prelude No. 9 in E Major," I was struck by the fact that his very plaintive chord structure would be ideal for a hymn. And the more I thought about it, the more I felt that those chords seem to capture the longing many of us humans have to be with God and His Son in paradise. Eventually, as with my "River" hymn, I created a YouTube video for this song that included the lyrics I had written.
