This song was originally written by Tom Paxton, an American folk singer-songwriter who has had a music career spanning more than fifty years. John Denver covered Paxton's song for his "The Wildlife Concert" in 1995. In my cover, a solo flute carries the melody and is accompanied by a guitar and various percussion instruments.
