I've always been struck by the power and majesty of this song's melody. Although the original Aerosmith version was more upbeat in its approach than mine, I can't help but feel that using a solo trumpet and solo trombone, backed by choir voices, does the melody far more justice. On the other hand, the Aerosmith approach has a proven track record that I'll surely never equal with the approach I took.
