The very first time I heard the last four measures of Frederic Chopin's "Prelude No. 9 in E Major," I was struck by the fact that his very plaintive chord structure would be ideal for a hymn. And the more I thought about it, the more I felt that those chords seem to capture the longing many of us humans have to be with God and His Son in paradise. However, as with my "Sit Down By The River" composition, I didn't have any takers among CMPA members. Eventually, as with the other hymn on this album, I'll probably create a YouTube video that I hope will give the hymn a bit more exposure.
