Ideas for songs for my albums come to me from many different directions. This particular song is taken from "An Affair To Remember," my wife's favorite movie romance. I have long wanted to do an orchestration of it, but never felt I had the right instrumentation. What I really wanted was to have the melody carried by a human whistler, but such an "instrument" wasn't available to me at the time, and I personally leave a lot to be desired as a whistler. Then I discovered "Realiwhistle" by Mike Green's company, Realitone. Bingo. Problem solved. Orchestration completed. A wife made happy!
