Crowded House managed to weave a very nice melody throughout this song, and I use a variety of different instruments -- flute, guitar, vibraphone -- to bring it out. And, as with so many of my covers, the melodies are layered against a backdrop of strings and choir voices. I think the end result captures the original feel of the song in a fresh, new way.
